Habilitat’s Christmas Trees

• Habilitat’s Christmas Tree fundraiser began in 1971
• They are the largest distributor of Christmas Trees on island.
• Habilitat offers 4 types of trees at multiple locations island wide.
• In 1995 Habilitat began partnering with local schools and sports teams to help them raise money and have currently helped raise over 1 million dollars for Oahu’s schools.

All Kine Grindz

• Habilitat’s culinary program began in 1971 in a two bedroom home in Kailua, who’s primary purpose was to feed the 7 residents housed there.
• As Habilitat evolved and grew, an industrial kitchen was built after relocating to our current location on Kaneohe Bay, where meals are prepared for over 100 residents.
• In 2012 Habilitat started a catering and lunch wagon business called All Kine Grindz. The lunch wagon can be found at Honolulu Community College and Eat the Street events.
• This business was started to help raise funds for Habilitat’s every day expenses and to help provide vocational training to the residents.

Habilitat Construction

• Habilitat Construction was founded in 1973 by Frank Cockett Jr., who was the right hand man of Habilitat’s founder Vinny Marino. It began with simple landscaping and expanded into Construction and Masonry.
• Habilitat Construction offers Fencing, Masonry, Drywall, Cabinetry, Remodeling, Tile, and Carpentry.
• Habilitat Construction handles jobs island wide, including the remodeling of all Times supermarkets.
• All of the proceeds generated from our business entities go directly back to the organization to keep our doors open to the men and women in need of help.
