Our product donations fall mostly under five categories. The description of each is listed below. Thank you to all of our past, current and future supporters. It is through your support we are able to continue to make a difference!
Every holiday season we make sure there is a box of clothes under the tree for each resident to open. The boxes are filled with a variety of needed clothing items. Many of the individuals have never received a box like this in their lives.
We invite all the resident’s families to join in the festivities. We celebrate holidays in a big way here at Habilitat. Check out our Mother’s Day page for a great example of what we’re talking about. We host large celebrations for our residents and their families on Christmas and Easter.

We have an average of 120 residents at any given time at Habilitat as well as two fully functioning businesses. The operating needs are quite costly and we do whatever we can to alleviate the costs of running the facility. Office needs, hygiene, and clothing are the areas in which we spend the most money and are currently doing our best to acquire these items. Check out our Amazon wish list here.
For the last 20 years we have held an annual luau fundraiser featuring a huge live and silent auction. The event has been on hold due to the pandemic so we are partnering with Hawaii’s biggest online auction to raise funds and offer awesome products to our supporters. Habilitat is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and all donations are 100% tax deductible. Learn more about our online auction.
Feeding 120 people is no small task.
Each year we host fundraising projects. Currently our two largest projects are our Christmas Trees, and Haunted House.
