James E. Duffy Jr. is a retired Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court who presently serves as a mediator, arbitrator and special master. Justice Duffy is a past President of the Hawaii State Bar Association and a founding member of the firm Fujiyama, Duffy and Fujiyama, where he was a practicing trial lawyer for 35 years. On a personal note, Justice Duffy is an avid horseman and has served as a director of the Paniolo Preservation Society.
